Christ-led learning:
Our Philosophy & Curriculum

PHILOSOPHY OF EDUCATION
Our primary aim is to guide each child towards a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to nurture their growth into His likeness (Romans 12:1–2). CCA offers an atmosphere conducive to the development of knowledge, wisdom, and skills for serving the Lord. Our goal is to equip students to distinguish truth from falsehood, make discerning choices between the good and the best (Proverbs 1:1–5), and pursue their education with excellence, independence, and perseverance. One of the ways we are able to accomplish this is with our intentionally small class sizes, allowing teachers to provide one-on-one attention, tailor instruction, support struggling learners, and accelerate advanced students.
EDUCATIONAL GOALS
In alignment with Luke 2:52, “And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man,” CCA endeavors to educate students in a holistic manner:
Spiritual
- Guide students to faith in Christ, spiritual maturity, and a lifelong devotion to God’s purpose.
- Foster Biblical character and a Christian worldview through Scripture and discipleship.
- Encourage enduring connections within the body of Christ.
- Empower students to make an impact on culture by sharing the gospel and mentoring others.
Academic
- Deliver rigorous, Christ-centered academics to adequately prepare students for higher education.
- Enhance communication, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Cultivate discernment to confront societal challenges.
- Instill a passion for lifelong learning.
Physical
- Advocate for healthy lifestyles grounded in Biblical principles.
- Encourage active participation in wellness activities.
- Educate students on avoiding harmful behaviors through both Biblical insights and scientific understanding.
Social
- Instill respect, compassion, and civility.
- Nurture leadership skills within the church, community, and civic life.
- Encourage service to others, both locally and globally.
- Foster patriotism and responsible citizenship.
BIBLE INSTRUCTION & CHAPEL
Bible study is foundational at CCA, for “the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.” Every student participates in a structured program of Bible study using the ESV translation. Weekly chapel services provide opportunities for worship, growth, and the reinforcement of biblical truth. These services are held in the church sanctuary and lead by the Pastor, administrators, staff and/or invited guests. All students are required to attend chapel.
SPIRITUAL PATROTISM
All students must be willing to participate in showing allegiance to the Bible and to the Christian flag. This is a normal and daily event in the classroom. The student may also be asked to sing spiritual songs or participate in some display of spiritual patriotism.
NATIONAL PATRIOTISM
All students must be willing to participate in showing patriotism, such as reciting the Pledge of Allegiance to the United States flag. All students are required to stand for the pledge of allegiance and the National Anthem. Students may not show disrespect to the traditions of national patriotism by posture, gestures, facial expressions, or vocal disagreement.
